Today I’m sharing with you guys an easy 3-ingredient recipe for dog treats! This post is 100% approved by our own pup, Marty 😉
I like this recipe because 1). I didn’t have to go to the store to buy anything — we had all the ingredients in our home already! 2). It makes a ton. 3). It’s super easy and quick to make, and 4). I just saved a bunch of money on dog treats!
Marty likes this recipe because 1). It’s main component is peanut butter. 2). It makes a ton. and 3). Throwing a handful in a jar and giving them to your pup friends is a great Christmas gift idea, especially if you’re on a budget!
Marty’s 3 Ingredient Christmas Dog Treats
- 2 cups flour (I used gluten free flour to avoid any allergies because we have a high-maintenance pup).
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (unsalted if you have it!).
- 2 eggs.
- 1/4 cup water (added 1 tbsp. at a time)
directions: preheat oven to 350 degrees. combine flour, peanut butter, and eggs in a mixing bowl. mix ingredients together and add water 1 tbsp. at a time until it reaches a consistency where you can roll the dough out. roll out dough, and use cookie cutters (Christmas shapes if you have them!) to make biscuits! Place on baking sheet and bake for 10-13 minutes depending on the thickness of your treats. note: these don’t expand much at all, so you can place treats close to one another on baking sheets.
let cool, and give to all the pups on your nice list this year!
Enjoy!
xoxo
