It’s no secret that I love Joshua Tree National Park. It’s the first California NP that I ever stepped foot in (and the whole reason why I started falling in love with our National Parks in the first place) but it’s also the first NP that I took my brother to. It’s close enough to home for a day trip or any easy weekend away, and it has this weird ability to sort of just reset time for me. Being out in the desert with no cell service and views for miles, I guess I can see how it can do that to someone. Every time I go back, I feel like I discover something new. So last September, when my brother asked if we could take his boyfriend there, I said “abso-f*cking-lutely.” And so here are some of my favorite photos from our two days spent in the park:
